An Intense Study Program on Integrated Reporting was organised in Breda. The event was held at Avans University, under supervision of Tom Vos, Saba Norman Ali and Charlotte Filippini. Together with colleagues from Ghent University and the Universities of Bologna, Dublin, and Lille. The cooperation was a great succes.
The intense study week is part of a 3–year collaboration under the Erasmus+ program of the European Union. During the week, a total of 37 people in Breda worked on various workshops and a hackathon to gain experience with the new developments in the field of finance & control and accounting. Six students from the University of Lille participated in the workshops and hackathon online. Unfortunately, the Irish students could not participate due to the coronavirus restrictions in their country.
Professor Dick de Waard gave a guest lecture on the latest developments in integrated reporting. The next intense study week will take place in the spring at the University of Dublin.
