The demand for change in the way we interact with our planet is huge. As well from society, the EU and the business community. A sustainable way of financial reporting contributes to this. Yet the training of future accountants at business schools in Europe is still often focused on financial reporting. Graduates need skills in non-financial reporting. This involves critical thinking and an antenna for future risks when it comes to sustainable and social developments.
The INTEGRES project
The INTEGRES partners have a solution for this. They bring students, accountancy firms and SMEs together. Based on their input, they create practical educational materials. With an international module of 5 courses (30 credits). discuss topics such as SDGs, IR, KPIs and IR. These courses are available through Open Education Resources (OER).
Study Program
In addition, INTEGRES Partners organize two Intense Study Programs where students and lecturers from the 5 universities meet. The courses will be part of the future regular bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in business administration and accounting. The teaching materials and the OER are available to all bachelor’s and master’s students of Business Administration and Accountancy
At the end of the project, the INTEGRES partners organize an international conference for all information about the results
